I had the falafel burger and some fruit, my husband had the super falafel sub and the vegan french toast. The food was very good and flavorful. I wasn't happy that I asked what type of fruit came in the fruit salad and when asked for no oranges she said there was no way to separate it out but once you receive the fruit salad it is pretty obvious that they cut the fruit individually to place it in the bowl and removing one item should not have been a problem. But otherwise the service was good. The atmosphere is young and trendy which makes sense since it is in a college district. Be advised there is not a true waiter/waitress service here, you clean your own table and order at the front like at a take out spot. I would have given it 5 stars but I can't stand a restaurant that doesn't have a changing station in the restroom or good options for parking. But overall it was a good experience.
We are newly vegan and just so happy to find a restaurant we can find so many GOOD things to eat!!! Not just vegan options but downright DELICIOUS things to eat! Today we had vegan biscuits and gravy and French toast that tasted BETTER than any we've ever had! The breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the sausage patties were out of this world! Highly recommend!!!
This is the vegan zeppelin and the beer battered “steak” tofu sandwich with spicy soba and chips (not pictured had the avocado fudge also great)
As a vegetarian this place is in my top three favorite restaurants in RVA. The lentil burger is one of my favorite dishes, to the point I talk about it on a regular basis. A must as a lunch stop on campus.
