This place is my go to location for good snacks and for the nights that you realize you don't have a wine key. With a huge selection of beers and a kitchen in the back this is one of the few neighborhood markets that acts more as a micro-grocery store than just a corner store.
I definitely recommend this location, especially if you're a fan of German Chocolate!
Absolutely fantastic neighborhood market! Go to spot for drinks, snacks, last minute forgotten ingredients, etc.
Cool little market, has a little bit of everything, wide range of craft beers, they have a section in the back that refills growlers.
Great place to grab a quick sandwich on the go. Also if you live close by, it will probably become your grab-n-go spot for household items.
I've been living in this neighborhood for almost 3yrs and I'm a graduate student at VCU & I frequent this place very often, BUT when I go into this store I'm constantly being followed around by a couple of the white workers. They follow me around the entire store pretending to "restock" shelves and after buying beer from them every week, I'm always carded. I just went in the store to purchase beer & I was carded after the white guy before me was not.
