The person that totaled my new infiniti g35 by running a red light and running me into 3 other cars in the middle of the intersection has this insurance. It has been a horrible, stressful, experience and I am not even the one at fault nor the one that broke the law. This accident happened almost 2 years ago. They did not pay off my car due to the type of insurance the guy had, it only covered a certain amount, I had to pay for the rental car, medical bills, etc out of pocket and waited a year to even see some of that money back to be reimbursed. I am drowning in debt because of this. I had to get my insurance company to help pay for some of this due to Geico not helping. Since then I have a baby on the way in a month and still swamped with bills, and no money for my bills that i had to pay. GEICO is heartless, greedy, and terrible at owning what is the guys fault. I didnt asked to get hit. No one from this company will give me the money I need to pay off all of my bills and my totaled car.
Geico service sucks. They violated Va state law on insurance requirements. Forced me by adding a driver to my policy without my approval. They stated it was in their contract. The problem lies in the fact that the law in Va only requires you to insure your automobiles not drivers. I feel like I have been robbed, forced to do something against my will. I will be looking into my legal rights in this matter. Geico is nothing but crooks.
