Nice quite restaurant but would never eat there again. The food came out nice and hot but there was no taste to it. If you like bland food this might be the place for you. Had the Cod Limone it had no taste at all. My mother had the Baked Chicken Gratinati it had no taste chicken was dry. Cute place but will be my last time going. I can see why it was half empty on a Sunday afternoon.
Drove from Southern Chesterfield county to try Bertucci's. My wife is medically vegan and they have options for her. I just love Italian food. Had previously viewed their website where it says made from scratch daily. Our waiter (Joel) was GREAT. The restaurant is beautiful, the food did not live up to its staff and surroundings. The chicken parma is not pounded and breaded there. It is freezer to fryer (made from scratch?) so I ordered the lobster ravioli. Description says chunks of lobster. Not one of the ravioli had a chunk of lobster unless our idea of chunk is vastly different! As other reviews said they came out close to luke warm but not quite. My wifes cocktail came straight up with no ice. Joel brought her a glass of ice. She liked her food but it was also not hot which she was fine with. We were 1 of 4 tables at the time so they weren't slammed. For the price and the travel time, definitely not worth the trip.
Amazing food and for the kids, they can bakes their own bread using dough.
Food was pretty good, only complaint I have regarding the food was that my friends ravioli came out just a little past warm but still pretty good. The two stars has nothing to do with the food, but the service. We had to request refills on our drinks twice, as the waitress walked by our table to cater to the party of 8+ next to us. Multiple times the waitress would just walk past our table while stopping at her other tables around us. I was rather disappointed and was going to let it go till I saw the waitress snap her fingers to get her trainee to heel like a dog. At that point I requested to speak to the manager as that poor of service and attitude to a fellow employ needed to be addresses quickly. The manager was very shaken by what he heard, and said it would be addressed.
This Bertuccis used to be great, but now food was only good with so-so service.
