The food is delicious. But for a neighborhood spot the service is terrible. The manger will reprimand employees in front of customers and you can walk up to the register without the staff even saying a world. Literally, my husband and I walked in and stood in front of the register while the staff just stared at us. It wasn't until I said "hello" that they mumbled a quick hello before I was able to place my order. . Although, fresh and organic food is their focus it would be awesome if they focused on the quality employee training as much as you focus on quality food.
No stars off for being a symptom of a neighborhood being taken over by profiteering developers. If not this, then something else would have been instead.
this is a good place if you want to grab a coffee and chat. i enjoy the atmosphere for small networking meetings, but I try not to head to Urban very hungry... the quality of food is good, but quantity is not enough for the price (example - $12 bucks after tax for a small sandwich or salad). when I have forgotten to pack a lunch and need something quick, I will get the cuban sandwich (our office is right beside urban). they have a nice selection of locally sourced packaged snacks and drinks. You can grab individual or multipacks of beer for typical price for craft beer (like $10 to $15 for a 6 pack). parking is typical of scott's addition - you need to find a spot along the street. it is getting more difficult lately (2017) as scott's addition is getting more populous.
Love it but it's pricey for what you get. Really, really pricey. If I have to meet someone from outside the neighborhood, I'll go here since it's impossible to miss from the street. Once upon a time I would go to get out of the house and get some work done outside the office.
Good food but a little pricey. It's great when you need a quick coffee and a bite. It also has live music occasionally.
Woke up early and found my new favorite breakfast spot EVER! Local produce meets health conscious meets vegan friendly meets good service! Layout and ambience is bright, clean, and very inviting. I cannot wait to try more of what they have to offer; this morning's lox and CC was truly delicious (and kindly customized my order without onions without blinking) and super fresh
When it opened I had high hopes but the highlight of my time here was getting "dewlaps" on a triple word score on the Scrabble board that still had all its pieces.
