I used to live at the apartments here. The mall has struggled since opening, mostly with food options. They really need a small food court. There are not many cheap options, aside from Chipotle. Many of the original restaurants have closed and nothing has then their place. I wanted this to be a success, but it seems like it is only a matter of time for this mall. Short Pump Town Center is vastly superior, and that's with the crazy crowds there. Opening two outdoor malls (the only two in the country that year) in the same year was a mistake for the greater Richmond area.
It's nice that Stony Point is dog friendly. I do enjoy a few of the shops and restaurants. The cooking classes at Sur La Table are excellent.
There’s a new Harry & David store at Stony Point! They have pears & moose munch & great foodie gifts right in time for the holidays. Stony Point has added a lot of great seasonal pop-ups to fill in the whole place for the holidays. Yay! The benches are all heated for comfort as it gets cooler & there is a nice outdoor fire place to enjoy. Dog friendly with fun events happening often. Easy to get in and out with quality stores. And the movies are deluxe!
Outdoor mall that is extremely attractive. Looks like a small European city. Shops are upscale and include very good restaurant options and a theatre where you can dine while you watch. New remodel is more than half done. Easy access and parking. No food court so eating will cost a bit more but worth it. Entire mall and stores are PET FRIENDLY.
It's a nice outdoor shopping mall. The seating in between the stores are comfortable (I sat in a few, they're nice). While their selection of stores are mostly high end things, they do have the usual things like Victoria secret and bath &body works. They also have a decent selection of food places. The only thing that might throw you off is the small construction they're doing on the inside, so certain sections may be roped off.
At P F Chang's told waiter what I want to order 20 minutes before happy hour was over and he comes to my table checking to see if everything okay, I asked where is the rest of my order? Well happy hour is over it will be at regular price. Things sucks everywhere you go these days. SMMFH
