Our family has used Coleman Brother's for years. Back when Floyd use to be there. So we are use to superb quality. On Tuesday, my sisters and I went to order a spree for my Mother's casket. My Mother had always taken great pride in her yard with something blooming at all times. So we wanted something that reflected her taste. We worked with Vic, one of the designers. Showing him some pictures, talking colors, and him showing us samples of flowers. We agreed on a design and paid. When we saw the arrangement for the first time, our mouths literally dropped. It was absolutely gorgeous! He had taken what I was seeing in my mind and made it happen. Everyone who saw it stated, not only was it beautiful but not what you saw all the time. It was a stunning piece of art. Mom would have been thrilled!! It was totally her. We can't think Vic enough. In our time of grief, we came out of the fog, to find his beautiful garden.
Lovely, extremely colorful fun place. Over the years, I've had plenty of arrangements sent out to co-workers. However, they always get the message card wrong. Today, I went in the store with a typed message and the woman still entered it incorrectly. Other than that, it's an extradinary convenient place to get flowers, plants, and so much more.
Great place to shop. They have everything. When you walk in this place, it is the kind of establishment that makes you 'smile'.
We have used Coleman Bros for over 35 years. Usually the service and the flowers we receive is outstanding. My most recent experience was a disaster. I ordered flowers to be delivered on a very specific date. Coleman was unable to deliver the flowers on that date and waited 4 days before informing me of a problem. After a very lengthy conversation where I was only told "sorry", "I'm new here", and "everyone makes mistakes" I became even more disappointed in the organization. Finally at my initiation we resolved the issue by having flowers delivered at no cost. Will I use Colemans again? Probably but will be very nervous and anxious until flowers are delivered correctly.
Always double checked what you asked then to put on your card. They never seem to get it right (over the phone or bringing in a typed note). Even when they read it back over the phone, they read it correctly but when I see my email receipt, the words are always messed up. Take time to proofread thoroughly.
Coleman Brother's is the best florist in Richmond hands down. I have been using them since 1986, and they have always provided me with the best customer service and freshest, most beautiful arrangements. Coleman's has a huge selection, including exotic varieties and silk. My wedding arrangements were stunning. The blanket they made for my grandmother's funeral was the finest quality I have ever seen with tons of roses, iris, and tulips. When my father died, I received a blooming dish garden that included primrose and hydrangea, which I was able to plant outside as a living memorial of my dad and am still enjoying 10 years later! I will not use another florist in Richmond. I highly recommend Coleman Brothers for quality and customer service.
