I am out of the area so I like to locate a local florist near my intended recipient, rather give the local florist the business than the 800 big name. Tommy's Garden proved to be a great find, I will use them again.
Called Tommy's Garden this morning at 9:19 am to have flowers delivered to a co-worker. The female associate who answered the phone told me that the delivery driver had left in that direction already, and the flowers for my co-worker would not be delivered until the next day. Tommy's Garden does excellent work, but it is ridiculous that a delivery request being made at 9:19 in the morning is too late for same day delivery. Furthermore, the tone of the associate that answered the phone was not friendly or courteous. It is very disappointing that a small business would conduct itself in such a manner.
OUTSTANDING. I received a call back, during their closed hours. My order was taken and I was assured my order would be no problems to be delivered the next day. They were courteous on the phone, quick to take the order.
I'm surprised to have read two very bad historical reviews about Tommy's Garden. I walked in on Valentine's Day and found several staff members to be extremely helpful and cheerful. I got just what I wanted at a good price. This will be my go-to Richmond florist from now on.
We order from Tommy ALL the time, and he never disappoints. He provides beautiul flowers at great prices!
The order arrived before lunch the next day for my younger sister's birthday. And it was perfect. Even better than the picture.
Phenomenal!! I had a last second order for same day delivery and they got it to the destination within 30 minutes! Have never run across such a great customer oriented florist like this. Bravo to everyone there.
