We had moved out of town and decided to have Pack Rat store the pod for us at their Richmond facility. I was quoted $1300 to have the pod moved 102 miles. So we decided to rent a moving truck for $300 one weekend and empty the pod ourselves. Upon arrival we discovered the facility was closed on the weekends. We pleaded with the customer service people to find someone who could pull the pod to no avail. So we ended up finding a moving company who emptied and delivered the contents for $550.
All in all it was a rough experience and customer service was less than sympathetic. I would recommend just having a mover take care of it.
