Had a great experience purchasing a recliner. Worked with Mark (a veteran!), who was extremely patient with my many lengthy test drives. He answered all of my questions and was ready with the tape measure. I never felt rushed and I am very happy with my purchase.
Be careful of their offer to sell you a Guardsman warranty. I have had two separate claims that I filed, one for a structural problem with the sofa recliner itself that I had to pay for the service call to La-Z-Boy even though it was a manufacturing defect and now they are claiming a scrape is not actually a rip thus will not pay the claim. Buyer beware!!!
I had walked the store and sat in probably every recliner to find the one that fit my shape and size. I originally wanted a red toned leather but as I was getting ready to leave I noticed a fabric one just the shade I was looking for. Mark walked up at that moment and I started asking him questions. I originally did not want a swivel (which this chair was) and he showed me how that could be prevented by inserting zip ties but told me he felt the same until he had one with a swivel. He showed me on sample fabric how the treatment that had been applied would repel liquids. I really appreciated him taking the time to go over all the aspects of the chair and warranty. I don't usually like dealing with salesmen but he was very sincere, easy to talk to, understood my concerns and addressed them all with good answers. Long story short I ended up purchasing the chair and could not be happier!! It is the most comfortable chair I've ever had. It has just the right amount of stuffing and firmness. I even LOVE the swivel....what a surprise!
