We have had work done on our house four different times and used Lane Homes and Remodeling each time. Every experience has been outstanding. The jobs have gone without any problems. Lane Homes updated our 1980's bath to be much more functional and retain a spacious feel without changing the footprint. They updated our den from a typical 1980's paneling and grass cloth room to a bright, airy modern space that is delightful to see and use. What I like about doing business with Lane is that they listen carefully to what you like and don't like about your space, they create innovative designs and are very willing to "tweak" them to achieve your vision, and they follow through and follow up on everything. They are always accessible for questions, and your satisfaction is definitely their first priority. Their contractors are always polite and friendly and never leave the house without cleaning up from the day's work. Working with Lane has been a pleasure.
"Bubba with a pickup truck" would be a better bet for quality work than Lane Homes.
Lane Homes gets one star only because I cannot give zero stars. Took 11 months and three different carpenters to convert a carport to a garage, which should have been a 2 month job. I had the first carpenter removed from the job as he cut into a electrical breaker box with a circular saw! Took three tries with major repairs between each inspection to pass the county building inspector. Charged what I later found out was about double the going rate for the work. On top of it all the garage has leaked and has pooled water on the floor every time it rains since day one.
