If I could give this hospital no stars I would. I had the absolute WORST experience in this hospital. My nurse had a terrible attitude was very aggressive and not at all sanitary. I waited more than two hours to be seen after being called back. She didn’t have any of the materials I requested to make my experience more pleasurable. Didn’t wait for the numbing medicine, nor did she use all of it, and she didn’t wait until the numbing kicked in before she used a scalpel on my leg. I felt THE ENTIRE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE and before being seen I had noted my pain level was above 10. Didn’t offer any type of pain relief medicine. Absolute worst. I would not recommend the nurse Molly Meak to anyone.
I’ve been to this hospital off and on for many years. The most recent experience was very good aside from the reason we were there. The pediatric unit is very loving and caring towards the children. We received good care.
I've been coming here off and on and had no problems or trouble with anyone. Every time I come I would get the valet parking. Every one of them was very nice to me, and even helped me to the car. The front desk would always greet me. When I had surgery, all the nurse's was very polite to me and my husband. I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. Thanks to everyone that works at Chippenham Hospital. ❤
Do not come here. If you need ER treatment go to St. Francis or Johnston Willis. My Mom has been in ER for over a day! No rooms. She had cataract surgery two days ago, was sent to ER with eye instructions and hasn't had any drops.. Supposed to be every two hours. Has not had any breakfast and it is almost noon. Nobody around here seems to know what is going on.
Horrible registration dept in this ER. Both ladies here on 09/15 night shift are awful. Both have attitudes. Eye rolling when asked a question(2 black ladies) This hospital has really gone down hill. Get it together!!!!! There were young people(patients) in waiting area cussing and being loud and not one staff member addressed it. Nor the security that was just sitting there. You see the reviews now do something about it!
