I write this review for my father, Kirk, who spent two weeks here earlier this year. He is not computer savvy and his English skills aren't the strongest and he's begged me to write this for him. That's how grateful he is to the nurses and staff at this hospital. He spent two weeks here in a physical therapy program after having a stroke. Everyone was great to him- patient, kind, and caring. The nurses here are wonderful and my family is very thankful to them and all that they were able to do for my dad.
My brother is visiting me from out of town this week and began having stomach pains and running a fever so we took him to the ER. Didn't make it past the side of the front desk before they gave a flu test. Test came back negative but they gave prescription for flu meds anyways and sent us out without even taking us back to a room for a full exam.. Within four hours he was admitted into a different hospital with APPENDICITIS. This could have been a much easier night if they had just taken a few moments to slow down and really listen to his syptoms, but instead trioge nurse told us to "sleep and take more vitamin C". He then contented to make inappropriate jokes moking the branch of the military our father is in and was useing very foul language with my teenage brother who was being seen. I understand the ER is a very busy place with serious issues going on 24/7 but there was no need for us to be rushed and dismissed so quickly. Also, the We will NEVER be back.
I had such great service while at the hospital. The therapy was fantastic. I would like to recognize Sherry Newton and Bryan Davis as being wonderful therapist.
Parham Doctors Hospital has the nicest, staff, emergency room, cafeteria and the most caring people I have dealt with in Richmond, Va. Great Doctors, good location and I would recommend them to anyone!!!
Went to the infusion center. The ladies there are beyond awesome! They really care about you and your situation. They are great listeners and are there for you! Thanks again ladies for all you do!
