The museum has a good guided tour. The exhibits are very interesting and the gift shop is on point. If you're interested in the life of Edgar Allen Poe or even if you just want to find out what the big deal was, pay a visit.
Unfortunately, we arrived when a wedding was setting up, so we didn't get to see everything. But we were very happy with what we did see.
Interesting collection along with well written bits of info and history throughout the museum. The old buildings and gardens that house the museum added to the charm.
Great place! Wonderful, helpful staff. One less star because it's rather small, but it is well done and interesting.
My neice had her wedding here. It was so sweet. I especially loved the cats walking throughout the wedding ceremony.
A great museum in tribute to a great writer. The exhibits are thorough and detailed, and you can see a ton of Poe's effects, including manuscripts and printings of his work.
Also, there are two cats on the premises that are just the cutest little things.
