Love my PL8. The neck and shoulder jets are INCREDIBLE! This is my 3rd hot tub and it's by far the strongest jets of the spas I've owned. The delivery guys were great. They showed up a little late but I was scheduled for later in the day and they said the deliveries before mine were more challenging and they ran over time. But they were in and out in 30 minutes with no damage to my yard and got the old spa on the trailer so fast I couldn't believe it. My salesman Mitch was very thorough.
I bought a Barefoot Spa from a local promotion event. We got a top of the line one (Barefoot Spas PL7). It has the waterfalls and the LED lighting which were the main things we wanted. IT also has a lot of power and a full therapy lounge seat. The spa is fantastic, but we did have an issue with the pump not working right after we first hooked it up. We called in and the guy told us how to prime the pump over the phone. Apparently, you're supposed to fill it with a garden hose in where the filter goes. How was I supposed to know that? They said I should've followed the directions in the owners manual. Owner's manual??? The spa didn't come with a manual. All they did was email me a website link to the owner's manual on the website, and I don't have a printer. Now every time I want to read something in the manual, I have to go to the website. Still frustrated about this!
Got my new tub hooked up last night. It’s a Barefoot Spa I got from this factory at a spa show. It’s called a PL7. It's way nicer than my old one. Got it up and running last night. Got the lights going. Got the water nice and hot. Got my beer nice and cold. Life is always good, but than again, life is way better with a quality hot tub!
We've been pretty happy with Barefoot Spas. I got referred here by my sister inlay who lives close by In Richmond VA. (We live in the Washington DC area). We found them when they did a big spa sale at the convention center. Got a great deal. The spa is really nice. Only problem we've had is we got the spa delivered with out the steps we paid for. They apologized, and I get it. Accidents happen. They said they ran out at the show, but I live 2 hours from their factory and I don't get why it would take 3 entire days to get me my steps.
I wish I could give a negative star rating to this company. We had purchased a new hot tub at one of their "location promotions," with assurance that they would be there if we had any problems. We have had plenty of those and they are pretty pathetic in their support of the product. We had a heater failure, a panel that needed replaced and a pump that went out, which we had to cover at our cost. Last year, we started having plumbing leaks (2) that were covered, but this year, different jet bodies are starting to leak and they are saying that is "Normal Wear and Tear." I think what has happened is the people we bought from have sold out to Spa Blowout and now they do not want to stand behind the problems so it is very easy for them to say "Normal Wear and Tear." If I were doing this again, I would buy from a local company to have the local support.......
