We held a Retirement/End of the School Year party at the Hippodrome's Speakeasy. The afternoon affair went well. The food & service were both groovy. Mr.Stallings was very accommodating to us poor school teachers.
Great waiters, great entertainment, awesome food and drinks! Just an overall wonderful atmosphere!
Prom was great here except the floor ended up super crowded for our size group. Upstairs area was pretty chill though and the music wasn't as loud up there. Glamorous historic events space
Simply gorgeous. The beauty and history of this venue shines through. From my favorite the intimate and chic Screening Room, elegant Speakeasy to the romantic mansion dining room and insanely beautiful theatre, the Hippodrome is a true gem.
Beautiful space with loads of history in a RVA historically black community. The food was great. My shrimp and grits were savory, and my husband's yardbird and waffle were prepared to perfection. This little hidden gem is now a brunch fav!
