The food is incredible, staff is polite. Service speed can seem a little slower than other places, think 30 minutes after ordering for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

Super friendly staff, very good food. Highly recommended!

Parked by the train station ($1 for 2 hours) on street posting was hard to find with the construction around 17th Street.

The restaurant is a large, well lit open space. We ordered Sambussas for a starter, the 6 vegetables with Injeera and 2 soft drinks which cost $32 without the tip. The six vegetarian dish consists of a nice selection of a mixture of curries and spicy vegetables served on Ethiopian bread. The service was friendly and prompt. There are vegetarian, meat and seafood choices. Some of the vegetarian choices have butter so not always vegan friendly. A good wine and alcohol selection. The atmosphere is upbeat with Ethiopian music playing and large TV screens, more suitable for a gathering of friends than a business meeting. We really enjoyed the food here. We thought the yellow lentils and potatoes could have had a bit more spice but that is really being picky. A great meal, at a great price. Perfect for people who like food that is not just standard American fare. We will definitely be back.

Enjoy a new adventure eating Ethiopian food. I was impressed by good food, a friendly owner, and fun Ethiopian music videos bring projected on the wall.

I went to Addis only having eaten Ethiopian food one other time in my life. I went at lunch on a Friday; not especially busy then. The waitress I had was very helpful and recommended that I get a sampler platter so I could try multiple things and then recommended which dishes to get. All were excellent. Ethiopian food is eaten with your hands using a unique bread called injera. Dishes can be like a stir fry or like a thick chili. Dishes can also be spicy so watch out for that! At the end of the meal you are given a warm, moist cloth to clean off your hands. Overall I had a great meal.
