today was my first time visiting Amuse and honestly my girlfriend and I couldn't ask for a better experience. our server Ross was very professional and knowledgeable; he made great cocktail, entree, and dessert recommendations for me! the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. the restaurant is small but it is still perfect if you wish to come with your date (like I did), and be to keep a conversation without the need of raising your voice when talking. we will absolutely come back for dinner very soon, we're very excited! I highly recommend this restaurant, and ask for Ross, he's such a great waiter.
We sat outside overlooking the lawn while the sun was setting. Paired with great food from this restaurant. Why wouldn't anyone want to enjoy the experience.
Love this place! Have been several times and the food is beautifully presented and prepared by an A+ chef. Will continue to visit. The mussels are best in all of Richmond, that I have tasted. I have never been disappointed dining at Amuse.
My Father and I had a wonderful lunch here after seeing Native American Art, Faberge wonders, and glorious Art Nouveau. From a wonderful seating feel through bread, sea bass cassolet (quite alliterative!), and espresso (properly accompanied with lemon) it was the perfect conclusion to our Museum visit.
Contemporary, upscale, and delicious....rivals what I find in California fine dining!
