I hadn't been to a Rainbow since there was one at Cloverleaf Mall, but my friend insisted that it was significantly better now. We walked in on a Monday afternoon and were immediately greeted by an associate at the front door. There weren't many other customers in there besides us two. Maybe 3-4 other people. As we made our way to the back, it was clear that it was receiving day, since there were boxes EVERYWHERE. I came across 2-3 more associates who simply looked up at me and went back to unwrapping or didn't even acknowledged me at all. I maneuvered around some boxes in the shoe and intimates section. Another associate spoke to me, warning she was about to get onto a ladder to put up some new product. Fair enough. I made my rounds and didn't see anything my style. However, my friend did, so I followed her to find an associate to get a fitting room. My friend wanted to try on a bodysuit. The associate immediately said she couldn't try it on, because the bodysuit is considered "draws". So I politely asked her, "She can't even try it on over her underwear?" "No." I asked what the return policy was and the associate stated that if my friend bought the bodysuit, she would not be able to return it. When my friend asked the female associate how she is supposed to know whether or not the garment fits her, the associate said nothing.

Went to return 2 pairs of shoes because they didn't fit. They wouldn't return it because I had worn them for 5 minutes outside the store. Absolute bs waste of 30 dollars.

Very ghetto unprofessional and the management is terrible never returning to this location and the fact that if you have to return items and you paid cash or debit it has to be at the original store very inconvenient

Zero starts if I could. Very negative people. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your money giving these female jobs that have the worst attitude.

We walked out of there confused and irritated. How does a retail store sell clothing that they don't allow their customers to try on? AND on top of that, if a customer decides to purchase that piece of clothing (that they weren't allowed to try on), voluntarily handing over their money to this business, and that item doesn't fit... that customer does not have the right to exchange for a smaller/bigger size, receive a refund, or store credit?!

Clothing style is up to date

The thing that bothers me the most is that this female associate called a bodysuit "draws". You're at work. You're in a professional environment. You are the employee and I am the customer. You're not at home. You're not talking to your friends. You're not texting. You're "supposed" to be providing (at the minimum) good customer service, if not excellent. Secondly, a bodysuit is NOT "draws". A bodysuit can be considered an "undergarment" such as leggings. Leggings are neither pants nor underwear. I asked female co-workers and friends today, and they all stated that they always wear underwear with their leggings and would do the same for a bodysuit. Maybe this associate goes commando and assumes customers do, too? Does this associate say the same thing when customers want to try on leggings? Next, the associate denied my friend trying on the bodysuit over her underwear. Why? How do people try on swimsuits at EVERY retail store across the nation? How does trying on a bodysuit over underwear differ from trying on jeans/pants over underwear? A piece of your clothing is touching the underwear of a customer. It doesn't matter what you call it... jeans, shorts, pants, BODYSUIT.

Overall, this was not far from the "ghetto" atmosphere & customer service I've known Rainbow for. I would advise this location to rethink their sales opportunities at White Oak and reflect it through their customer interactions. Having not stepped in one of their stores for years, I wish I had kept it that way.
