As I moved towards the door and he said something to me but I can't recall what, I said that I had just wanted to try some on but maybe another day. That's when he decided to ask me if I wanted to try some on. I said no thanks and left!
I went in to see the fit of a brand of shoes that I've been interested in for a year and a half. The gentleman told me I couldn't try on anything unless I was intending to buy something at the moment, because it's not worth their time to help people who aren't going to spend money and it would hurt their sales. I could understand this if the store was packed but it was dead so I don't see any reason why I couldn't try on one pair of shoes. Needless to say I'm not going back there again since money is more important than customer service.
I guess the sales people there don't work on commission or maybe he just gets paid for standing around all day !
I went in the store today looking for a pair of tennis shoes. The salesman never moved towards me as I was looking at the shoes. He stood across the room and asked me if I had tried Brooks before without ever taking a step closer. I told him that I couldn't remember and that I was trying to find a shoe that would not cause ankle pain like I had been experiencing. He never came close enough to me for me to even show him a pair to try. He never asked me if I would like to try any on!!!!!!! I have never had that happen with a sales person!
Customer service is horrible never will order shoes or step in that store again horrible horrible customer service and then there are rude and terrible
Today I stopped in for some flats with a good arch support. I couldn't be happier with the excellent service I teceived. I walked out with a comfortable pair of shoes that I will enjoy for years! I highly recommend this store.
It would have been understandable if they had been busy, but I was the only client in the place!
I took my Mom to Richey Shoes because she was having trouble with her heel coming out of her shoe which was causing her anxiety when driving. Her Podiatrist recommended that she go to Richey Shoes. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by Mark Kettlewell who analyzed her issues. While we were talking, Mark Hough came over and offered his expert opinion and suggestions. The fix was a piece of felt in her current shoes and we were told if that did not work, to come back and they would try to make some adjustments. They did not try to sell us a pair of shoes but we will definitely go back there when a new pair is needed as they have the expertise to get my Mom in the right shoes. A big THANK YOU to both Mark Kettlewell and Mark Hough for their help today! Definitely would recommend this Store!
