I bought 4 bicycles from Agee's in one day. They were the best. Love this store. It's hard to find a place that is family owned and operated. Most stores just want to sell you something. Not these people. Great customer service. If you want to buy a bicycle these are the people to go to.
I went in just to browse at bikes while in carytown, and even though I showed up right before close, Erin answered all my questions, helped me find the best bike for riding around this beautiful city, and made it a fun experience too. You can tell they love what they do. The only disappointment is the weather has been too cold to take out the bike everyday!
For others interested in going here be aware that the store can get crowded pretty quickly due to its size and there isn't always a bunch of staff on hand to address questions so they will generally try to prioritize people by when they got there and if they are actually trying to purchase something or just browsing.
Super knowledgeable and friendly team. They were incredibly patient with my endless questions and guided me through the purchase of a bike that would fit my needs. I was really uncertain about what I was looking for, but after my purchase I absolutely love with my bike! They helped me find exactly what I needed, their pricing was extremely competitive and as a new resident in the area they gave me great tips about where to ride. Truly fantastic experience and I will be back!
All my bikes growing up were bought from here and other week I went in to buy a new bike for my wife. I went in with a list of 5 or so bikes and the staff was quite knowledgeable about the differences between them and asked us about what our specific plans were for the bike and helped narrow the decision down. We then took it out to the riding area out back and the staffer whose name I can't remember helped get everything adjusted for my wife and gave us some good information about trails in the surrounding area to boot.
Great place to buy bikes, no wonder they have been in business for over 110 years!
