I purchased a used Ford Bronco that needed some work done to it and found Express Auto Center on line and decided to give them a try because of all the positive reviews that they had. I had a very positive experience doing business with them. They truly go above and beyond in their quality of workmanship and their customer service. They gave me countless rides to and from their shop which was a huge help. Dean was my technician and he was outstanding, his workmanship is top notch. The staff at Express Auto is extremely knowledgeable and they take time to explain what they are doing and why. I will never bring my truck anywhere else, they have gained a life long customer!! Thanks to everyone at Express Auto Center!
I made an appointment on Friday (8/11/17) for an oil change on Monday morning (8/14/17) at 8am- with the woman on the phone confirming I was the first oil change of the day. Thinking that since I arrived a couple minutes early and was told I would be the first oil change of the day, I would be out of there in no time. When checking in for my appointment, I confirmed with Steve that all of my tires be put at a specific tire pressure. After waiting until 9:10 am (over an hour later) I was called that my car was ready. I reconfirmed with the woman checking me out that my tires had been checked and put at the specific PSI I requested at drop off. After she confirmed with Steve that they had been, I walked out to my car and used my digital tire pressure reader to double check that all of my tires had air added to them since my sensors are bad so my “check tire” light is always on. All of my tire pressure readings were coming up low and at different numbers- clearly air had not been added like requested and confirmed. Now, almost an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment I am still at Express Auto Center with the owner explaining to me that the man working on my car is new and did not know to check the tire pressures with oil changes. This concerns me for a couple of reasons- when I checked in with Steve, he should have communicated with the mechanic working on my car the specific PSI that I requested so even if the new guy “forgets” he should have definitely done it for mine, unless the owner never even told the mechanic what I requested? Also, what mechanic does not know to check the tire pressure with a routine oil change when it is included in the service? If you are new, have a cheat sheet with you so you do not forget simple, yet important, steps of your job? Was he not trained correctly? If this man cannot remember to check tire pressures, how do I know he knows how to properly change oil? This is not a mistaken food order, or miscommunicated haircut, this is who knows how many errors on a vehicle that is my transportation- which is extremely important to me. How many other mistakes did he make on my vehicle or on previous vehicles he has worked on? I was given a gift card for my troubles which instead, the amount should have been taken off of my bill since of course the card went into the trash. I would never give someone a gift card or recommend an auto shop that hires mechanics that do not know how to simply do a routine oil change. Sure, people make mistakes, but taking over an hour and a half for a scheduled oil change and careless mistakes on my vehicle are not okay in my book. If you have gotten your car serviced here recently, I would seriously consider getting a second opinion on the work they did.
Express Auto Center is the Best!!! The owners, technicians and front desk staff go above and beyond to make sure you are treated like a V.I.P. At the end of a long Friday workday, I heard a loud pop under my hood, I got out of my truck and found the right front tire fell off. I immediately called Lisa and she had a tow truck at my location within 45 minutes. The shop is closed on the weekend and she promised that I would get a phone call Monday morning to discuss repair options. On Monday Kim called me and we discussed the repairs, they did not only tell me what was needed to repair the immediate problem but they also checked my vehicle and told me about potential problem areas that I would need to address as well. The ball joints, sway bar links, control arms and tie rods had to be replaced on my truck ON BOTH SIDES!!! I was mentally preparing myself to be out of commission at least a couple of days and I was thinking about alternate ways to get to my customers. Kim called me Monday afternoon and I was bracing myself for the bad news but instead she told me that my truck was ready to picked up and I did not miss any appointments or business committments!!! Express Auto Center is hands down the Go-To Auto shop for all of your Routine, Preventive and Emergency maintenance needs. And did I mention the price was fair and reasonable as well!!! Thanks again Lisa, Jr., Kim and Technicians!
For our older vehicles you can't afford to fix everything or you will go broke and Express Auto Center does a great job of assessing what you really need to get fixed and what can wait. Great service and friendly staff.
