Customer Service is obsolete. Rude staff is an understatement. I went in to sell 3 bags of clothing. The associate told me they Were understaffed and would only accept 1 bag of clothing. I stuffed all of the clothing into 1 of the bag to accommodate the staff. She explained I would receive a text once they had reviewed the items and I had to return by 6pm. I waited. I did not receive a text. I called at 530 the associate informed me that they sent a text to everyone and if I wasn't there by 6 pm my items would be donated and the only thing they could offer would be 25% off coupon. I shared that I did not receive a text and only had 25 minutes to return. I asked what items of mine they were purchasing and she stated she couldn't discuss that over the phone.
When I got back they got my name and went to get my items they couldn't accept. I was dumbfounded by the amount of clothes being given back. Almost the entire basket was returned. I asked them what was was wrong and they said all the clothes were too well worn which was even more or a surprise. My natural next question was what made them too well worn. The woman, who I'm guessing was the manager, came and tried to explain it to me. She told me that it's because the colors are faded and she specifically pulled out a shirt. I then informed her that the shirt was actually intended to be that color and that's how it was when purchased. Her response to that was that they hold clothes up to the light and there was fuzz on the clothes.
I really don't even know how to start to express my disgust with the interaction I just had. My wife and I brought in an entire laundry basket of clothes, most of which were worn only a couple of times, a nice bouncer, and a leap frog learning table. I received my text stating that my items were sorted and went back to the store.
That response was what did it for me. What kind of standard is holding something up to the light to see if there's fuzz? That is utterly unacceptable, especially considering that there are clothes on the racks full of stains. What really took the cake on top of everything else and made me decide to never do business again, was the fact they did take some clothes, then the bouncer and table and gave me $32. I get that it's consignment but that's ridiculous considering how much they're going to turn around and sell the items for. As soon as I signed for the cash and got in the car I regretted giving anything. $32 doesn't make it worth the memories made in the sold items. I know I said it before but I am never going to do business here again.
Due to not receiving a text I could not make the deadline and at this point I'm so disappointed by the interaction they can keep the 25% off. I'm not sure who the owners are but I would definitely rethink the policies and train the staff on customer service experience. I will not be back and will share my experience. I feel like the clothing I took for purchase was stolen. Parents do not have the time for games and arguing for what is rightfully theirs.
Kids outgrow their clothes so fast. Why spend tons of money on something that will be worn for just a month or two. Save your money and buy kids clothes and accessories here instead. Clean, name brand items of good quality and very little wear. Many things I've purchased still had the original tags attached.
Edit: Sorry when I did the picture for the Google Local Guides feature, I accidentally left that 2 star review, so I've edited and updated the entire review. Keep up the great work guys.
This was such a waste of a trip out here. I walked into the store and passed three employees creating videos on social media and walked up to the counter. The girl at the counter ignored me at first, instead she was yelling to the other employees who were on their phones. I checked in my bin and asked approximately how long it would take. The employee was SO rude. She looked at me and in a super condescending voice she told me that it was first come first served and it would be about 4 hours. We looked around the store for a while at their overpriced stuff. $9.50 For jeans??? I can get them brand new at old navy for 10!!! I got my bin back. I would rather donate them to someone who can use them than deal with their lazy, rude employees.
Always a great place for back to school shopping and children's items all year long. Been a customer for years now!
