A family member had an appointment with DBHC through a company EAP program using Cigna. When we arrived for the appointment we were informed that they do take Cigna but not EAP patients. We were offered the service if we paid out of pocket. In the end, a person in desperate need of counseling was turned away. Please do not take the chance of being turned away by this company.
The office would not get the Cigna insurance company to pay for my appointments. Cigna told me it was covered and Dominion Behavioral Healthcare told me they were a part of Cigna's network. Not sure where the error occurred. I do not have this problem with any other doctor's office. I was truly harassed for over two years after my appointments ended to pay something the insurance company was truly responsible for. Even Dr Begali left voicemail messages.
Rude front desk and awful long waiting times! Their front desk needs to learn respect!
