sucked. doc couldnt speak for more then about 30 seconds. asked him something he said he already said it i said no you didnt and he replied "maybe you didnt hear because i mumbled it" (wiseman).
My family member was there for three days and was not given the hygiene items she needed. She couldn't comb her hair, take a shower, or brush her teeth. She was told that all items would be provided for her and she got nothing. 3 days of sleeping in the clothes she came in wearing and being up in the same clothing. The facility is nasty and dirty. There was no clocks for her to tell time. The food was disgusting and barley edible. They tried to push medications on her without even knowing her history. I told her not to take anything. All they want to do is dope people up so they can keep them longer. I wouldn't send my dog to this place. The staff was rude when called to check on my family member hung up the phone in my face. This place needs to be reported and closed down which I will be doing. People will have more problems after they leave there.
Honestly. It's one of the best hospitals I have been to. Most of these reviews are adults that are kissed because they are hooked on meds and can't fix problems themselves. Others are because patients don't get what they want. But seriously, the staff is so caring and the food may not be the best but they have other options and you are always fed and it takes two to make a system work. So before saying the system is failing, look at yourself. If any staff happens to read this, thank you guys for helping me.
Called for visiting hours and was told 6-8 m-f and 12-2 sat and sun. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I NEEDED MY ID TO VISIT. I'm not checking into the hospital, and my dad checked himself in voluntarily. The apparent "director" of Tucker's came out with her hand on her hips just to smile in my face and say no Id no visit. Heartless woman and rude staff on every level of Tucker's. Will never recommend this place to ANYONE.
Dr. Wiseman....I think you should listen to ALL of your patients sir. I came there to get help with other issues other than addiction. Not everyone that comes to Tucker's is a junkie. When I say I take more than should was saying up my dose so I don't have to take so much. Not to put me on benedryl for my chronic anxiety and depression. You've not helped. You shouldn't tell people (my case manager) I sell myself well either. Very arogent statement from you. I did hear that. Also want to say Hunter was a really big help though. And Bethany in the 3rd West. Claire was also very genuine from 2nd North. Unfortunately I came here to seek help and I was more punished than anything......I also would like to say I had seen other patients that were talked down to, like "what are you looking at". How professional is that. I dont rememeber the yound lady's name in 2nd North who said that but it was said to a patient. Y'all deal with alot but you also have to separate the differences.
