DO NOT ALLOW ANY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY TO COME HERE!!! THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS!! THEY DID NOT TURN MY MOTHER IN HER BED FOR 10 CONSECUTIVE DAYS IN A ROW. SHE DEVELOPED A BED SORE THAT WENT INTO HER BLOOD STREAM AND KILLED HER!!! THEY ARE KNOWN FOR BEING WHERE PEOPLE GO TO DIE!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!!! ALSO THE ENTIRE HOSPITAL IS FULL OF MERCER EVEN MOST OF THE DOCTORS AND STAFF HAVE IT! SO YOUR LOVED ONE, IF THEY EVEN MAKE IT OUT OF THERE WILL LEAVE THAT BUILDING WITH MERCER IN THEIR BODY!!!
A family member of mine was a patient at Vibra Hospital Richmond, VA. The hospital is clean however some of the CNA in my opinion are as dumb as a rock! The case worker for my family member was named Danielle aka Dee. My opinion Dee was not good at her job. One of Dee job was to find other facilities for patients when required. Dee job with finding my family member a facility was horrible she waited until the last minute ( although we provided her with specific areas) to find my sister a facility Dee relied on insurance company extension. I called Dee and asked her what was the plan if the insurance company did not extend? To make a long story short Dee did not have a plan she said the insurance company usually extend. I did not find out until Friday that insurance company denied family member extension and Dee was suppose to call me on Thursday (5 May 16) after she spoke to insurance company to tell me if insurance approved another 7 days. I never received called from Dee. I called Dee on Friday to ask her the outcome of extension, only then was I told insurance denied extension. I took off from my job due to this woman incompetence. Dee had the nerve to tell me the reason she didn't call because the insurance company had called late 4:30pm EST. Since when is this time late? Dee didn't call because she knew me and my family would be angry.
Dee failed to do her job therefore my family member was sent to the only facility who would accept her and the facility was a hot mess! I was angry I called Dee and of course you guess it she never called me back! Dee is also an RN however her job at Vibra is a caseworker I want everyone to be aware of this person if your family member should go there. If there's another caseworker available beside Dee I suggest you select someone else. Do not be caught off guard as me and my family relying on someone who you THOUGHT new their job!
This is not a good place at all
Vibra Hospital of Richmond a okay place when they are doing there jobs there are a couple of the nurses are really good and love there jobs but very under staffed they use the intercom to remind them to turn the paients but still doesn't turn them when you press the nurse button no one may answer for over an hour and if they do answer they leave and don't come back for an hour or more we were tryin to be there for a family member that was staying in Vibra Hospital they don't want you to stay with them because they don't want you to constantly get them and make them do there jobs it not a family friendly
Not only was I not please with Dee. I wasn't please with Vibra Hospital as well. My opinion Vibra Hospital was more about collecting the insurance money. My family member is in a rehabilitation center no longer on oxygen and doing well...
On the last day Dee came to my family member room for me to answer a questionnaire about Vibra Hospital. I never had a questionnaire where someone else fills out the questionnaire according to what you say. I don't know what Dee wrote on questionnaire she knew if she gave me the questionnaire to fill-out it would not be good. I found this action STRANGE!
After my family member an I spoke to doctor about family member the doctor stated various health issues my family member no longer had. However Dee was sending out clinical as if my family member still had these issues. Dee was a hot mess! The doctor was trying to make excuses for Dee there is no excuses the woman is incompetent!
Vibra Hospital excellent place to take your love ones. We just let 2/13/17 the nurse staff are the most Caring nurses you can run across all the way down to the CNA I loved being out there with the team they have Shout out to Vibra Hospital and support team the Drs. are awesome shout out to Nicole, Judy, Jerkita ,Tracey, Pam,Irma for all what you guys have done
