Lovely gardens, water features, sporting fields, playground, and a great place to walk. Disc golf is wildly popular here. The shelters are nice for family events. Clean up after your dog. Lunch time is sketchy on weekdays. I've never seen anyone getting picked up but it sure has that feel. Otherwise, clean and pretty park.
Great place for quick photos not a lot of nice sites though or sitting area. Has a big soccer field.
Bryan is a great park for walking. They have a 3.1 mile (5K) and one mile walks marked out. These are paved walks, surrounded by big trees, and vary just enough in elevation to keep the walk interesting. They follow the road system in the park and are mostly closed to traffic. Walking around the ponds and over the dams is also fun, and this path have more vararition in elevation and let's you enjoy the ducks, geese, and falling water. Upkeep of the park would earn it five stars, but budget cuts have meant normal, expected maintenance of the roads and gardens has been largely let go.
LOVE Love love this park for my pup. Don the Therapy Pup is able to come here and not worry about being off leash to fetch his sticks, balls, and toys.
Beautiful place for walking / Jogging. Plenty of recreational variety. They have a little bit of everything... Soccer ⚽, tennis
