Love this park's trail system, great paved pathways snake through the park made it easy for my kids to ride around in and now that they are getting older, lots of off road trails they can ease into mountain biking on. (All this makes it a great, and slightly hilly place to run too)

Scenery is great, there are many places to sit and relax, and there are trails around ponds and through woods with a wide variety of happy wildlife.

Views are great and relaxing, yet you don't need to walk far from your car. Everything in the park is easily accessible with a stroller, although there may be some large bumps on some paths throughout the park.

Great place to bring the family for a walk, or games in the field.

Best park in Henrico. Lots of paved and in paved trails to walk, run or bike on. 2 ponds to fish. Nice wooden structures for small parties or just relaxing. I've even seen a wedding performed there. A nice soccer field. Multiple playgrounds for little kids. Nothing challenging for the older kids though. Very large park with even more nature to see when you go off the beaten path. Great for Pokemon Go trainers. So many Pokestops. 3 Gyms. My son loves it.

The best running / bicycle riding park in all of Richmond. I'm a big park junky. And the only one I could rival to this place is Three lakes park for sightseeing.

I enjoyed this park. It was my first time visiting. I didn't realize how big it was! I went there with my 4 month old in a stroller. There are paved trails there as well as some lakes to enjoy some beautiful scenery. You would never know you were right by a city! The park was very clean. There's a few playgrounds for the little ones as well as a basketball court. A lot of the trails are shaded and there are gazebos to rest in the shade as well. The paved trails can be kind of bumpy at times with a stroller, but it's still doable. The only problem I ran into was knowing where I was in the trails. There's different trails to go on, but they are not well labeled so it took my awhile to figure out how to get back to my car. Just be observant! Everyone I saw while on the trails and in the parks were friendly and respectable.
