No one likes waiting in a long line to check out car that is already paid for.
Rented a minivan for a week recently and, in the middle of that week, the two back tires were found to be bad. I called Alamo road assistance and the gentleman was very courtesy, apologized for the inconvenience, and instructed me where to go in the local area to exchange vehicles. Unfortunately,
There were no more mini vans available and had to settle for a vehicle that was not very adequate
Bad custumer service at counter. Car had bad wippers on a rainy day. I was driving really slow on highway because of low viss. Check your wippers if renting here.
Service goes a long way.
The gentleman at the desk was very nice and accommodating at pick up. The car was clean and worked perfectly. The trouble came when I tried to extend the car another day due to my own car still being in the shop. I called 6 times and was promptly put on hold for over 5 minutes each time. Once someone finally answered the phone, I was told that it would be $100 to extend another day. That’s ridiculous. The man I spoke with said that the system automatically does that to encourage people to bring the car back on time. I will not be renting from Alamo again.
Great vehicle - timely check in and out! Could use more personnel at key counter if not going to have kiosk in rental area open.
I've always enjoyed using Alamo, and this trip was no exception. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and it was a quick and seamless process getting my car and bringing it back. Highly recommend.
