I've rented from this place a few times before, I can say that it's a quite easy process, HOWEVER they do have things with in the company that I don't agree with, and it makes me feel uneasy to rent from them , since im in ghetto ass Richmond, I guess this is what you have to go through. they have the nerve to ASK you your whereabouts, WHY?! thats not even your concern, when I was in Maryland I was renting from a place called "Next Car" they were the best, they were even better than enterprise!!!! , they didn't require you to have a state drivers license just to rent from them (AS LONG AS YOU HAD A DAMN DRIVERS LICENSE), they didn't ask for no god damn utility bills, they didn't do credit checks.....they didn't ask you what state you were going to, they were very simple..DRIVERS LICENSE, CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WITH DEPOSIT ... AND THATS IT!!! they always had great discount rates, these places now a days are Terrible....and whenever you walk in this place .. its always the black guy who's working, and he seems nice, But they seem to always have a mechanic/cleaning person that's always sitting in the lobby being nosey , instead of doing some work .... looking and absorbing information, then he'll leave out ..... do better !!!

These guys rock!!! U-haul pressures you into a $20 additional "insurance" fee, and then, it's 70cents a mile! Auto Max....$45/day for a truck I needed to transport art show stuff; tent, tables, products. The best part...150 FREE miles and after that, 25cents a mile!!! They only asked me my car insurance carrier info...easy. They may not have the bigger mover style trucks, (gosh I hope they work on that....)...but if you have a local move (FAN residents...take note!)...with all that free mileage, go for it!!! YES...Auto Max beats U-haul hands down & then some!
This place is a joke! Advertise one price on the website and charge a completely different rate when you get there. Never again will we use this place.
