LOOK VERY HARD AT YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE COUNTER.
Never renting from them again. I prepaid for a car and got stuck with something much lower because the car i had prepaid for was not available. I declined all insurance and still got charged for it. I called 2 different times and no one could reverse the charge. I went through a 30 cent toll in Richmond obviously not being from the area i did not know there was a toll there nor did i know how to pay for it. None of this was explained to me at check out. When i went to return the car i asked the woman there how i could take care of it. She just told me you will get a bill from us, there might be extra charges! I don't understand why if i was trying to take care of it right then and there.
I selected one because there is not an option for zero or negative. Never in my life have I been treated as poorly as the shift manager and the person at the counter treated me at approximately 10pm on 10/16/17. Between the person at the counter assuming I could not pass a credit check to the shift lead (who was standing next to her) not even looking up to acknowledge my existence I am absolutely floored as to the level of absolute neglect of a customer. I work in retail management and could absolutely not tolerate anyone treating a customer so poorly. I have shown shoplifters in my store more respect than they showed me. I would not rent from them again if they paid me to do so. Highly dissappointed.
Really no complaints at all. The lady was straightforward and quick, we were at the desk for no more than 10 minutes, then the car was ready to go. Wasnt in the best condition but did the job for our trip. Would use again.
Arrived at the counter to pickup prepaid reservation, Customer Service Rep was constantly trying to upgrade me to a larger vehicle, add-on insurance and other features not asked for. Received Rental agreement and noticed she added on XM Radio for a cost of $30/week. Called 800 number and they told me the best they could do is credit back half even though I didn't ask for it or use it. I guess it depends on the location, but this Budget location is awful.
What if you didn't neglect your customers and chit chat with random customers for 15 minutes.
