We were here for a wedding reception and all of the accommodations were great. Great service, food and atmosphere! We will consider this place for future functions. Congratulations Marlo and Samea!!!
After 5 hour drive when I arrived for check-in at 10.30 pm, they said I have already checked-in. Asked for my ID and behaved all surprised and said this might be a mistake. Later did I realize that this was a story they were cooking. They gave my booked room to some airline folks and told me they have a deal with airlines and need to give them priority. In my 10 years of global travel, this is silliest thing I have ever heard. If you have a priority for airlines, you should tell every customer before hand. Secondly, the manager (Encka I think) was super rude and was behaving as if I'm asking for a room which I didn't book. Guess what, she comes and asks me "how can I help?". Really? You just give me my booked room, its as simple as that. But yeah she totally behaves as if I'm wrong if I'm upset and continues being arrogant and later ignoring me. After pressurizing them, they told me to go to some hotel in Richmond downtown and said everything is ready and waiting for us. Luckily I called that hotel and they said they have no clue what I'm saying. I go back and tell them this and that's when they called the other hotel and got me a room. Thanks to the front desk person (Janelle I think), she took care of our food costs.
This has been the worst experience with a hotel in my life. I would still have understood if they gave my room to someone else and put me in other hotel, but being rude, such behavior with customer and trying to fool me is not at all acceptable. New hotel related lesson for me and of course, never staying here again!
Good hotel. Close to the airport and lots of food and shopping nearby which their shuttle will take you to since it offers service withing a 3 mile radius. Also, a quick Uber/Lyft ride into downtown Richmond.
They look nice but I'm not a fan of wood/tile floor through the the entire room. Beds and bedding were comfortable, staff was great. One maintenance staff member was slamming doors around my bed time but stopped immediately once I stuck my head out in the hall.
Very nice place. Convenient to the airport. Not far from town. Doors stick a bit so they have to be slammed to close. The climate control in the room is a mess. It doesn't equalize. The thermostat on the wall means nothing and the unit just runs ignoring its independent thermostat. Bed is super comfortable however. They really need to do something bc about climate control and the place will be amazing
