Great kayak put in. Well maintained by the local support groups.
Canoe launch ramp. Pony Pasture has better walking / picnicking on James banks . Go East 1&half mile on Riverside Dr.
My favorite spot to put in for a day of kayaking the James. Usually get out at Reedy Creek landing. Takes about 3 hours. Some class 1 and 2 if the river is at around 5'.
Nice park. Great place to spend time.
