It is a beautiful place! The wedding ceremony took place in the Japanese garden. The reception was in the nature center. We were seated out on a huge 'patio' under a tent. However, if you have trouble walking this isn't the place for you. Getting to the ceremony and then to the reception was a long, long walk. You can cut through on very rough terrain if you are a mountain goat. After all, it IS a park!! FORTUNATELY, there are lovely people who shuttle you between places in golf carts. Katie & Phoebe were our 'drivers/tour guides and they were lovely. As our stay ran long passed dark, we couldn't find our way back to our cars, so maybe better directional signage would be helpful.
Great place for kids and lots of bang for the $4 entry fee. A wide variety of activities and exhibits.
The Chinese terracotta figures exhibit is well worth seeing.
Very nicely done aquarium, a peek into the river life that surrounds our city. Great for the kids. Offers events in private areas (like birthdays, etc.). Home of the otters, which is always entertaining.
Great Fun & educational experience for everyone. It truly was an amazing addition. Very Beautiful with the indoor aquariums, including the semi-outdoor aquarium for the Young Otters. Breath Taking!!! Fun for all ages.
