Amazing trails. But dirty and let me tell you why. My 3 year old Chihuahua was walking around in the dog park and she stepped in gum in the grass of the dog park and we had to pull it out. Hope that tells you a little something.
The nature center is very interesting for both kids and adults. They have all sorts of reptiles and other animals. Great walking trails though it's hard to enjoy the along the water trails since it's privately owned and there are many trees blocking the view
This is one of my favorite local parks. The trails are beautiful and include views of a pond. There is a dog park and a playground as well. You can also find lots of pretty painted rocks done by RVA rocks.
It's a pretty nice park and is safe with a long paved trail through the woods and lots of other trails. There are lots of baseball fields, picnic areas, tennis courts and a dog park. The basketball courts can get a little sketchy, but overall, it is very safe and no one bothers anyone else. A little more open area would be nice for people to simply exercise, play soccer or just be away from the woods to throw footballs or frisbees. The bathrooms are pretty basic and sketchy, which could be improved, but it's better than port-a-potties.
Beautiful place for a walk! There were very nice, paved walking trails, perfect for seeing the changing leaves and the pond. It was very peaceful and happy.
