Great hidden away PRIVATELY owned park! Who needs government?
This is an almost-secret grassy neighborhood "pocket park," maintained by volunteers, a hidden respite if you just want to take a break from walking or sit and eat a meal . You can hear acoustic music many summer evenings. Pot-luck events on holidays. There is space for gardening on the north end.
Lovely little park, quaint getaway in the fan district! Dirty in some parts and it is also a popular dog park so be aware of that!
This is an adorable little park tucked away where you wouldn't expect it in the middle of the fan. It's the perfect place to sit in the sun for a while with your friends. Make sure to check out the little free library. It's super close to 8 1/2 and Strawberry St Market, so I recommend ordering a pizza or grabbing some snacks to enjoy in the park.
